Being Born
Hi I´m Dan, Dan Conti and I proudly invite you to drop by time and again to visit my thoughts on English language teaching and education in general and especially post your feedback here. I´ve just put up this blog and therefore I feel like a baby who´s just been born: looking around, checking and starving...hehe...because it is 5h30am right and I haven´t had anything to eat....!

Wonderful idea!!! Hope to follow your ideas here... keep me posted.
ReplyDeleteAs you might have noticed, I wrote "eXpecially" Even though Especially is quite all right in Brit English, the "X" is totally out of the way here....but then it might´ve been the time I wrote that together with the fact that my mum is from Rio de Janeiro...laughs....
ReplyDeleteJust a note on language, there are 2 forms for the word above with 2 slightly different meanings, please check´em out:
"especially means 'particularly' or 'exceptionally' while specially means 'for a specific purpose'; especially comes from Latin meaning 'belonging to a particular species,' it now is restricted to mean 'important'"
This is an excerpt from the great online thesaurus: wwww.thesaurus.com, where we can find word meanings and explanations.
I´m so very glad I´ve got 2 visits!!! Thank you!
Dear Visitor,
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by.
Today I´d like to introduce you to Jean Sinclair, a man whose dream was to learn English. I invite you to help me by making suggestions and actively participating in his account of the pathways he took in his learning process.
It is simple as that: Jean´s gonna write down his experiences and put questions forward. He´d very much like you to reply to those questions and his account will build from there.
TKS a lot and read you in the next post!! :-)
Hi! My name is Jean Sinclair.
ReplyDeleteI was born in Sharaleigh about 30 years ago. In my homecountry we speak Sharaleighnian, a language similar to a mix of Chinese, French, Portuguese and German, with touches of Russian and Hungarian.
Before I was born, my kin assigned me a very important mission: Investigate how humans lived! WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SKILL TOWARDS THAT END IN YOUR OPINION? Post me! :-)
